Live Keyboards on TV for Gunter Gabriel

Drum edits for Patrice
On the upcoming album of Patrice I accounted for the drum edits. Drums played by Josh McKenzie, engineered by Russ Elevado (who recorded and mixed D'Angelo's legendary Voodoo album).
The album production takes place at Supow Studio, Patrice's impressive yet cosy recording studio in Cologne. All signals are tracked to analogue tape.

Update: In the meantime I also recorded vocals and percussion. The album is going to be great!

In the meantime, the album has entered the German album charts on # 97 – even though the band clearly has a complete DIY background. Consequently, the album will be released on the label Mathildas und Titus Tonträger, which guitarist Sascha Eigner is running himself.
Lichter do a cover version of Gisbert zu Knyphausen song
On the occasion of their tour with Mr. Knyphausen, Lichter (indie pop) interpret the piece Spieglein, Spieglein by their fellow tour colleague and „shape it in a style bearing connotations to a western movie’s score music. They play a limping rhythm, add banjos, horns, sounds similar to a musical saw and lots of rumbling“ (Kevin Hamann). Recorded by Jakob Storm and me, mixed by Christoph Schneider. The result can be downloaded here for free.
